One of the most awaited fashion events, Amazon Indian Fashion Week took place from 7th – 11th Oct, 2015 at the NSIC Ground, New Delhi. India’s most influential designers as well as promising new talent showcased their spring/summer collection at this five day event. The venue served as the perfect backdrop to this sartorial spectacle. There were several VIP lounges, an exhibition area and two main stage areas, to make this event a grand success.
AIFW SS’16 was given a traditional opening by top designer Sanjay Garg. Through his collection ‘Raw Mango’, he gave an ode to the exquisite art of Benarasi weavers; intermingling Benarasi weaves with urban cuts in luxurious silks.
